The Origin

natugea® was founded in Italy in 2020 based on a simple idea: natural supplements can be simultaneously authentically Italian, scientifically rigorous, and accessible.

When we started, we asked ourselves three questions. Where do the raw materials for the supplements we find on shelves really come from? What dosages and titrations truly work? Can products be presented honestly, without promises of "miracles" and without meaningless jargon?

The answers took shape in a brand: a range of supplements developed with careful attention to ingredients, formulation, and labeling. No shortcuts, no false claims, no compromises on quality.

 

What Makes Us Different

Traceable Italian Raw Materials

We work with Italian agricultural cooperatives and certified suppliers to bring real local ingredients into our supplements. The Carota Novella di Ispica PGI, a protected designation of origin from southeastern Sicily, is the heart of our Sun Protection. Sicilian red pepper gives our Betalyc® lycopene the concentration we seek. Cucumbers grown in the volcanic soils of Sicily become Cucumdren®, the patented extract that defines our Drenapur.

We don't write "Made in Italy" as a slogan; we demonstrate it throughout the supply chain.

Patented and Standardized Ingredients

A natural plant is not automatically a good supplement. What matters is the standardization of the extract, the titration of the active ingredients, and the quality of the production process. For this reason, in our products, where possible, we choose patented formulation ingredients: Cucumdren®, Opuncherry®, and Betalyc® from Nexus Laboratori; Lutemax® SKINGLO from Omniactive for skin radiance. Patents with technical dossiers, analysis certificates, and studies supporting their use.

The titrations we declare on the label are verified and traceable lot by lot. This is a level of transparency that requires effort, and we believe it is the least we can offer to those who choose our products.

Concrete Made in Italy

All our supplements are produced in Italy, in GMP-certified facilities, by production partners selected for their reliability, experience, and attention to detail. Each batch is analyzed for microbiology, heavy metals, and active ingredient titration. Each product is regularly notified to the Italian Ministry of Health.

Honest Labeling

We state what is inside and in the necessary doses. We declare patented brands, titrations, and raw material origins. We use claims compliant with EU Regulation 432/2012, without promising what supplements cannot do. No supplement cures a pathology, no supplement replaces a healthy lifestyle. This is written on our products because we believe it, not just because it is mandatory.

Our Approach: Nature and Science, Together

Italian folk medicine has ancient roots: from Northern birch for drainage, to pineapple bromelain, from milk thistle for the liver to bilberry for microcirculation. This knowledge has spanned centuries, validated first by experience and then – more recently – by scientific research.

We believe the best way to honor this tradition is to bring it into modernity with scientific rigor. Standardizing extracts, certifying titrations, working with clinically significant doses. Without esotericism, without food mysticism, without "natural" promises that mean nothing.

Nature and science are not in opposition: they are two complementary tools for creating supplements that truly work.
